Pigeon Forge Christmas Tips

For one of the best Pigeon Forge Christmas Trips, be sure to read on. We have put together some great tips to help you and yours make many memories for a special holiday season. Whether it be venturing into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or touring the many attractions in town, we know you will have a wonderful time here in Pigeon Forge during Christmas

  1. Rent a Pigeon Forge Condo

No one can deny that Pigeon Forge is a magical winter wonderland during the Christmas season. Sparkling lights line up the roads in town and if you are lucky, the Smokies will be covered in snow. Our Pigeon Forge Vacation Rentals are located one block off the Parkway and many of them offer wonderful Pigeon Forge and Mountain views right from the private balcony. The condos provide the perfect backdrop for a great family photo whether it be the Pigeon Forge lights or the snow covered Smoky Mountains. Snuggle up in front of the gas fireplace with some hot cocoa and some board games. It sounds like the best time, spent with family and loved ones.

  1. Winterfest Tour of Lights

There are not many places you can visit that have 5 Million Lights lighting up the town. Pigeon Forge offers a Winterfest Driving Tour of Lights from early November to the end of February. On the tour, you will see animals and critters that are native to the Smoky Mountains like deer, bear and foxes. You can even enjoy the Twelve Days of Christmas while traveling down the main road in town as well as a 60 foot tall tree. Pigeon Forge even decks out Patriot Park, near the Old Mill, in an Americana theme to honor America’s Armed Forces. You can pick up a brochure and map of the Driving Tour at the Trolley Office or the Welcome Centers or download it here.

  1. Have a Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood

Dollywood literally turns into “feel-good, Hallmark movie” during the Christmas season. I dare you to find an area of the park that is not adorned with shining lights, wreaths and more. Carolers parade through the streets and Rudolph, Clarice and friends roam throughout greeting Dolly’s guests as well. You can even have your picture taken with them! Take your kids and visit Santa’s Land while there. You will see the elves working hard and the children can tell Santa what is on their list of Christmas.

  1. Gatlinburg Christmas Parade

This will be the 41st year that the city of Gatlinburg will have their Fantasy of Lights. Usually, more than 60,000 folks line up the streets of Gatlinburg to enjoy this Christmas season tradition. Marching bands, giant balloons and Santa himself show up to bring a bit of fun and Christmas spirit to you and yours.
